Dear Parents and Community members,

On behalf of the staff, School Council and Parents’ Club, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all children and parents of the school, and also to those beginning their association with Horsham West and Haven Primary School. I am extremely proud and honoured to be this wonderful school's Principal and cherish the opportunity to assist in the development of our most precious resource - our children.

Throughout this website you will discover more about our brilliant school, the procedures that we use to ensure a high quality learning environment for your children and the learning opportunities and support that our school offers to students. Our school is a caring and friendly community and we value the input of all parents, caregivers, students and community members.

The school comprises two vibrant, but different campuses. The Horsham West Campus is located on the western boundary of Horsham and has an enrolment of approximately 550 students. Our Haven Campus is located 6 kilometres from the centre of Horsham on the Henty Highway. The Haven Campus has an enrolment of 105 students. Enrolment at either campus is governed by the Horsham Primary Schools’ Neighbourhood Policy and more information about the policy can be found on this website. I am proud to recommend our staff to you. Our teachers are dedicated, hardworking and most importantly caring professionals who go out of their way to ensure your child receives the highest quality educational experience we can offer. Our support staff team which includes our learning needs coordinator, welfare officer and integration aides are second to none. They do an exceptional job in supporting students and teachers in our school.

Communication between the school and family is facilitated by the XUNO app, this website, our digital calendar and a fortnightly newsletter which is distributed digitally via our website and the XUNO app.

We offer a broad educational program and the assistance of parents as volunteers makes this possible. We have an active Parents’ Club at both campuses and your involvement in one of these groups ensures the continual development of the school.
