Horsham West/Haven Primary School
Welcome to Horsham West Primary School.
The Horsham West Campus is located on the western hinterland of Horsham. The Horsham West Campus has specialist facilities that include a gym, music room, art room, IT lab and resource centre (library). The school facilities have been augmented this year with the inclusion of six new classrooms. This large primary school provides an extensive program for students. Each year the school production showcases the talents of students and the production is staged on three nights. All students access specialist teaching programs in Art, Physical Education, Information Technology (IT), Music and Library. An 'After School Hours Care' program is based at the West Campus, providing care for students in the afternoon.

Welcome to Haven Primary School.
The Haven campus is a small school located six kilometres from the town centre of Horsham. The school was completely rebuilt in early 2009 and now offers state-of-the-art facilities for students and teachers. The school has adjoining community sporting facilities that broaden the recreation activities available for students. Students access the specialist program at the Horsham West Campus each Wednesday. The Haven students also have a library lesson provided by the Mobile Area Resource Centre or MARC Van every two weeks. Students can travel to an 'After School Hours Care' program by bus in the afternoon.
Student Support Services.
A variety of support programs are provided to students who encounter learning difficulties including Reading Recovery, Quicksmart Numeracy and Quicksmart Literacy. A testing program is utilised to identified-students who have high intellectual potential and resources are provided to classroom teachers to enable extension activities.
Special Facilities.
Information Technology is a focus of the school and community fund raising has supported the development of I.T resources at the school. By the end of term 1, 2011 each classroom will have a electronic whiteboard.
Special Programs.
The school provides a wide range of sporting programs and educational programs. A laptop (netbook) program runs from Year 4 to Year 6, with parents leasing a laptop for $200 per year.
